Pivot Tech Helps To Connect Unconnected Communities

Our end-to-end solutions connect the unserved, underserved, commercial enterprises and government entities in communities through fiber networks.

Uniting Top-Tier Partners, Leading Innovation and Excellence Together

Founded by a strong management team, Pivot-Tech leverages a unique partner eco-system to provide effective fiber and wireless solutions for local, county, State and enterprise customers. The principals of Pivot-Tech combined have over 100 years of cable and wireless experience.

Our first task was to form a consortium of world-class companies that share our vision and commitment to innovation. Each member of our team is a distinguished leader in their field, bringing unparalleled expertise and a proven track record of success. Together, we are poised to drive transformative change and set new standards of excellence in the industry.

Design & Finance

Design and finance go hand in hand.  The high-level designs need to show the expected cost of the network.  From there, we work with our finance partners to find the right mix of grant, debt and equity to make the project sustainable.

Unlike many of our competitors, Pivot is focused on a P3 approach.  We do not prioritize Pivot owning the network, and we encourage "open network" business models.

When we have a good feel for the direction of the finance portion, then detailed final designs can take form. These designs carry forward for years to come and usher in network maintenance and expansion capabilities that serve the local populations.

Pivot Tech’s unique suite of services will take you from concept to operation

Our end-to-end solutions connect the unserved, underserved, commercial enterprises and government entities in communities through fiber networks utilizing the best designs, construction methods and equipment available. We believe our approach to building these fiber networks and our business model for sustaining them is unique.

Build

High speed networks require modern equipment and construction techniques.  After the design phase, permitting and utility coordination sets the framework for the construction phase.

Whether underground or aerial or a mix of each is considered, the construction phase must be well thought out and managed to ensure on time results.  Both middle mile and last mile requirements demand skilled crews utilizing the latest technology to bring a lit fiber to the premises.

Operate

Operations is the difference between customer churn and customer retention.  For the life of the finance period, Pivot is charged with operating and maintaining the network.

We look for local people who have a strong work ethic and understand the needs of the locality, teamed with a network operations center that is state of the art.  The "NOC" notifies the engineering team when a fault is occurring which triggers a customer support response.

The goal is to know a problem is happening before it impacts end users.  This is how customer service wins awards and reduces churn.  Network sustainability is job one on several levels!
